In 1991, Tim Berners-Lee created the World Wide Web(WWW). The WWW made it possible to share information through static web pages, written in markup languages such as HTML. The first decade of the web is called Web 1.0. This era gave birth to blogging; the more significant change happened in the second decade, in Web 2.0.
